BRUSSELS, Belgium — Anheuser-Busch, the maker of Budweiser and Bud Light, has agreed to a takeover by a giant Belgian brewer, a union that creates a global beer leader and brings to an end one of the most iconic names in American business. The board of directors of Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. on Sunday accepted a sweetened $52 billion takeover offer from Belgian brewer InBev SA, according to a joint press release. The deal, which is subject to shareholders' and regulators' approval, would create the world's largest brewer and create the fourth-largest consumer product company worldwide. "This combination will create a stronger, more competitive global company with an unrivaled worldwide brand portfolio and distribution network, with great potential for growth all over the world," Carlos Brito, CEO of InBev, said in the statement. So. Last winter? the wmms progran director decided he wanted to reimage wmms. We brainstormed on a few ideas, and came up with a gas station shirt idea, so the logo was a patch... It was mediocre at best, some people liked it and some hated it. We then decided to try a new logo that was updated for the year 2008 and also had a throwback to the days of old, the days of the buzzard. So I designed the logo you see In the photo of the van.. I think its cool and works as a usable mark on everything. Tee shirts, hats, letterhead, business cards, stickers, mouse pads, banners, vehicke wraps... You name it... I swear I knew what I was doing about 7 years ago. Flash was on the verge of becoming a great animation tool and photoshop and fireworks exported enough code to make a cool looking site. Today, everything is different. I don't know anything about ajax or actionscript 3, and I just learning php. Wow am I behind the times. How do I even begin to compete with young developers!??
