Splitting wood for the first time in my life...

Today I went and bought a wood splitting maul from Lowes. We have tons of wood that the elec company took down and wanna use it as firewood, so I learned rather quickly how to split wood.



The first few strikes were awful. And thank god I got the fiberglass handle, because I wouldve cracked a wooden one after 15 minutes..

All in all I was successful. Still tons more to split!
