Noisically inclined?
I started writing a new noise/ambient track today, and I realized that I need to get some hardware that will allow to get more creative with what I am producing. Not that I am dissappointed with what I am writing, I think the final mixes are pretty pro sounding.. But I think a real synth or sequencer would be the tool that can take me over the edge.
I've been software based and a VST overabuser for about 10 years now, I think its time to step up to some better equipment,.
Maybe a moog or old korg? I need an analog synth to get started, and I'm sure I can find something (if not 20things) on eBay.
My music has come a long way in 10 years. I now produce, write, record, edit and mix all of my own tracks. It will always be getting better, that's my goal...
